I loved reading about your little adventure sneaking outdoors.

We did the same thing when Bob was hospitalized in Mallorca, made daily escapes outdoors and against the rules:)
You Go Girl! Love YOU
We love you and are praying for you daily. I promise that once you return, I will come back to Tai Chi practice. We made it through our challenge with cancer. We know you will too!

You are in our thoughts and prayers here at Hillcrest!
Glad you got out in the fresh air. You have such great friends, willing to ask the wrath of the nurses :) we love you and are thinking of you every day
Missing you and thinking about you. Hope you get to home soon. Just getting back to your home will make you feel so much better and speed your recovery. We are sending positive vibes your way!
Suzette, you are coming home? This is the most amazing news; that you are being released and will be able to recuperate in the peace and quiet of your home. Your progress does not fail to amaze. Continual healing thoughts and prayers flowing your way. My sisters and prayer chain say, 'ditto'!! Hasta mi buenest amiga. Be talking to you soon.
We are so happy that the surgery went well. We know that there is a long road ahead, but, as they say, even the longest journey is made up of single steps. Just take one at a time. We will be cheering.
Pat and Catherine are doing a fine job teaching the tai chi class, but we all know that no one can really fill your shoes. You are a wonderful teacher with vast patience and tolerance for the bumbling amateur. We really miss you
Hi Suzette!!! I love and miss you so much!
I know that you'll make it through this and kick this cancer to the curb! My family and I have been praying for you and sending you many positive thoughts! You are constantly in our thoughts and we are praying for your quick recovery!
Hope you are feeling better. I know it cannot be fun but it will be for the best. I hope you know your Michigan family is thinking of you constantly as you go through this. If you feel a cool breeze it will be sent from us in the cool north. You should be receiving many breezes from many directions to help you along.
Love, Mike (and Sally)
Another Wednesday....... and tonight is all about Suzette!!!
Think about your Aikido friends at 7:00 pm tonight.... we will be thinking of you. A little Tai-Chi, a little meditation, a little Taiko, and even some Aikido... all with you in mind.
See you on the Mat (very soon).
Uploaded a picture of the working meditation for you on the AikidoAi FB page. There were others clapping in time for you. We played one of your favorite games tonight: "What's wrong with this posture?" Everyone with a belt got to participate and they were enthusiastic. Loads of huge air hugs, healing chi and love for you.
Dear, Dear Friend,
I can hear Chuck's voice in my head, saying what he might say to anyone getting in his way to the fresh air! You could have raked up those leaves and invited other patients to jump in them!
In the moment, that is how I am getting through these days and hopefully how your healing goes! Mucho love...jackie
Dear sweetest Suzette
We are so glad you're home resting and getting fresh air. Sending you big hugs and licks from Soxx. Soxx says to tell you that he beat his cancer and he knows you will too! We are in complete agreement with his canine wisdom. Sending you many, many butterfly kisses and hugs from Tesia and Belinda.
Welcome home to my sister,
Hoping you get the rest, ease and peace you need now. Beaming you lots of love and healing touch! Yes, grateful grateful for each breath and each moment.....
Love love love
Glad you are home where you can get some real R and R.
Welcome Home Suzette! So grateful for each and every milestone you reach in your healing! Rest well my friend and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers daily. ((((((Gentle Hug)))))) for you.
Recently I was in your lovely yard with all the flowers, shade and foliage so it's easy for me to visualize you sitting quietly there with Hotei, soaking up all the beauty and healing. Rest well my sweet friend. Mucho amor, Marty
Good morning Suzette! Glad to hear that you are home and on the slow road to recovery.
I wanted to pass on a little info. Eat mushrooms! A couple years ago I was hired by an Australian company to go and interview a very well-known local scientist who was conducting a study on cancer. He was ecstatic about the results he was seeing in his patients who were eating a serving of raw white button mushrooms daily. He also said good things about grapes (pretty sure he was talking about green grapes specifically), but mushrooms seem to be a real weapon against cancer. Different kinds of mushrooms may be better, but he was studying regular white button mushrooms.
I'm not one to pass on hearsay, but this one came directly from the researchers mouth to my ears. I'm not sure if his research has yet been published, so doctors might not yet be aware of this info. Maybe you can get some fresh organic mushrooms, smash them up, and mix them into the mush you said you've been eating.
Hoping for a cancer-free Suzette soon! stay positive and focused on winning this battle. Love you Suzette!
Wonderful news! Your progress is amazing and inspirational. Being home in your own space will certainly be more restful and healing. So grateful to be able to read these updates and messages from you. Many many many people are praying for your speedy and complete recovery - more than you know since I am certain that many of us have spread the word far and wide that you need light and loving thoughts, warm and healing energies. xoxo
Hey Suzet!! I am pretty sure the part of the tumor that could not be completely removed was actually an avocado pit that had developed due to your love of the fruit. My odd humor aside, I noticed that hhhuuummuuss sales have decreased lately. Once you can have more energy interaction we must help their sales. It should be easy to ingest and process ..... yum :-) Lots of hugs and love, Joanne
So glad things are progressing well! You have a ton of support behind you. We are thrilled you are home and beginning your recovery journey. All my love and strength to you!
Welcome home dear Suzette.
It is such a blessing to have you on the mend and in such good spirits.
Peace and Love
Buenos dias nuestra Amigita, So happy you are home enjoying the sunshine and the outdoors. Good therapy and hopefully you have been able to get some sleep. We miss you and your wondeful meaningful hugs. We still have the candles burning and keeping our prayer chain going. We get daily calls from my family asking about your progress, happy to tell them you are kicking butt. God Bless and all we can say " You are amazing Suzette."
Con mucho amor abrasos y un beso Tus amigas que te quierren con todo corazon.
Tex and Ranie

Good morning...Thanks for the updates, so nice to hear your voice and descriptions of the small pleasures of being at home to continue you healing. Now that the days are cooler and the air quality improves you can enjoy your garden even more. You are often in my thoughts and I send you love, light and healing energy.
My dear Suzietta,
I am glad to get your news! I can feel you and your strong spirit moving along the path with grace and gratitude, as usual. And I am always sending you my best healing waves~
I love you,
I am so grateful to hear of the positive progress you've made. You are an inspiration to all. Your "go with the flow" attitude is no doubt assisting with the recovery. I loved the balance story. You are always telling us about that big bowling ball of a head... so it is nice to have someone else commend you for your great balancing work! Looking forward to the next update when it happens. All my love, Melanie
Hello dear friend,
I'm so happy to hear you are home and that you're spending time outdoors. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. I wish you continued healing… sending loving chi your way. ~hugs~
Good morning Suzette! May this Monday bring you lots of comfort, relaxation, peace of mind body and soul, warm sun on your face, fresh air in your lungs and all the comforts of home and loving family and friends. :)
Glad the weather has cooled down. There should be more birds & butterflies in your garden to enjoy. I'm glad you can get outside. You are in my thoughts.
P.S. Please tell Suzanne - thank you for this website. It is a great way to communicate & keep in touch.
Hola Suzette, Just wanted to say hi and I hope you are having a good day! Keep smiling. Love, Miyoshi
I hope this note finds you feeling stronger and in less pain. I can envision you gently breathing and being in the present moment. Your description of your health status and challenges reminds me so much of how much we take our movements for granted. I can also envision you as the injured crane making a remarkable comeback. We will send healing chi all the way back from Baldy. Will miss you on the mountain.
Hi my friend, just thinking of you before I go to sleep...will dream
of you healed, happy and bathed in love. Sweet dreams, fresh
air, sunlight, soft pillows and restful sleep...are what I wish you
tonight. Love you, Linda
Good evening to my soul sister,
I enjoy reading the sweet messages left here and feel glad you are so surrounded by loving friends! I feel far away, but not really, as always.
Yes, such gratitude we all need to feel each moment
Hi Suzette: Just home from Creative Writing Class. I'm sure you could feel the love and good vibes from the group. After all, each Friday we're just across the street.. As always, keep the faith.
Just a quickie. Thanks for sharing your most current status. Miss Qi and Spirit , we will be sending down waves of healing chi and love from Baldy, banging our drums and embracing you.
Greetings of Peace from Rome ! Know that you are remembered in my daily prayers and masses, Suzette. +God Bless you and strengthen you in His Love.
Thank you for your updates. It is good to read about your progress. Slow and steady. My thoughts are with you.
You are like a master gardener, you have created groups that continue functioning in your stead - the writing class and Tai Chi class - we are your flower garden. However, you are both missed and yet fill the room with your spirit. We do the stuff because of YOU! Lots of love and hugs. OM and Nameste
Hi Suzette! You are doing so so well! Keep the positive energy and momentum going. We are cheering for you with our positive thoughts, prayers and lots of love energy! We will see you when you're able, and until then, continued blessings with recovery! Go-girl!
Hi, Suzette! We keep thinking about you and are missing you. We are practicing all our tai chi. Our dance needs your guidance, though. Stay strong and heal quickly. The Thursday group has continued to meet and wish you well.
Don & I were just looking at his 1970 Monte Vista Yearbook & there you were on the volleyball & basketball teams...how fun! We both wish you a calm & relaxing Memorial Day. You are in our hearts💚
Happy Memorial Day my dear friend. Continued relaxation and healing for you. As always, you are in my thoughts and daily prayers. Con mucho cariño, Miyoshi
Lovely day hiking to the water tower, having breakfast at the Deli with a place for you, thinking of you, and all our treks together, sending you so much love 💕 I remembered that you are the one who convinced me it was safe to hike there alone, paranoid girl that I am. Soon we will take a lovely hike together :)
Regarding the barking dogs: My neighborhood's peace too is assaulted by barking (or yapping). I like dogs like I like people -- the idea of them, you know, that Platonic aspect or ideal, seems wonderful, but ....
Whittier would be such a nice place to live if it wasn't for the dogs -- and the people. (Ha! Just kidding. I like dogs, barking and all.)
Hello dear Suzette, I hope you are having a good day! I finally got around to washing my car (and my dad's car too). It's one of my simple pleasures, driving a clean car! I'm blessed and reminded a short time ago, I could not wash or even drive my car. Take it one day at a time my friend and you'll be good as new! With love, Miyoshi
We missed you at Mt Baldy! Sorry that you have to go through this, but glad to hear that you are slowly healing. We look forward to seeing you next year at Mt Baldy!
Your sense of humor comes through in the first photos: right after
and 1 week post surgery. I see in the other photos you are outside. Time in the garden is peaceful and restful. Get some good rest today (Sunday is a day of rest) between your busy weeks.
We appreciate the updates. We care about you and will be thinking of you this week, especially on Tuesday and Thursday.
THROUGH ALL OF THIS YOU CEASE NEVER TO AMAZE AND "SHOW US THE WAY".........."beauty is in the eyes of the behoder"...you have .......beholders around the universe.........p s take a peek.......im in your pocket
Good morning Suzette! Just saw the latest update, thank you for keeping us posted on your journey! I'll share with you one of my favorite mantras, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13 You can do this my friend, I believe in you and am here for you everyday! (((((Gentle Hug))))) with mucho love, Miyoshi
My soul sister,
I continue to hold you in loving thoughts as you go through these next steps. The umbrella of love is open and shielding you!!!!!
I love you, Suzietta,
Hello my friend, thinking of you and hoping all went well with your eye surgery yesterday. Sending you lots of love and healing energy. Con mucho cariño, Miyoshi
We miss you at Friday Creative Writing and will be thinking of you tomorrow. Rest up this weekend for your busy schedule next week.
Avocados, ahh, the only thing I ever thought that tasted absolutely as good as it looked.
When I was a kid Suzette my first real job was working at a terrible place that used to mix the stuff they sprayed on ceilings - "popcorn" ceilings as they are disparagingly know these days, thing was it was smack in the middle of a huge avocado orchard. the owner of the orchard told us we could help ourselves to all the avocados we could eat while at work but we couldn't take them home. For two years, five days a week, I ate at least five avocados a day. I'm 72 now and still eat all of those damn greenish things I can get my gluttonous hands on. My favorite is to garnish them with sea salt and course ground black pepper. (and the blackest, darkest beer that Trader Joe's sells.)
Miss seeing you Suzette -- Dan D.
I'm so glad to hear the surgery went well. I've been thinking about all day today and sending positive vibes your way. Let the healing energies fill your body. You are loved and cherished by many. All my love! Melanie
Hi Suzette, happy to hear you received eye surgery, Thinking of you each day and saying lot's of "please God's let Suzette get through this". Will be sending more avacados your way! Love and hugs Jerry and Suzie
Hi Suzette, Glad you are on the mend after the eye surgery. I was in Big Bear this weekend celebrating Yani's birthday surrounded by family including Sierra who came home from Ohio and gets married this coming weekend. I shared your journey with Sisi and after getting over the shock of all you have had go to through she said, "she has the right attitude!" And she is so totally right, you do! Receive lots of love from The Feliciano's! xoxoxo
What a lovely place to recuperate!
Thanks for sharing the picture of your garden and Hotei. I love thinking about you in that green, growing atmosphere, soaking up that renewing energy. I send you more as well, Love and light surround you in my thouoghts, Marty
Good morning Suzette,
What a beautiful yard and hopefully a peaceful environment (you have mentioned barking dogs) where you can get the much needed rest for your body, regroup and restore after each leg of this journey, and find the inner peace where you can get that much needed mental rest as well. I continue to pray that you will be comforted by the love of your friends and family, that you will be able to eat, that your strength will be restored, that you continue to focus on the positive because you have come so very far already, and that the chemo and radiation totally eradicate the cancer, and finally that you will have minimal side effects from those treatments. Love and hugs to you!
Greetings from Indiana, Suzette! Even thought
While we are here visiting Errol's mother, our thoughts are of you. Your TeamSuzette website is amazing, allowing us to keep up with your progress without interfering with your recovery. Your brave and beautiful words fill us with awe and inspiration--that in the midst of all you have to endure and the challenges still ahead, you can still see beauty and feel so blessed. Ellen & Errol
Hello Buddy. Hope you are doing better each minute, each hour, each day, each week!
Be Strong! Be Brave! Be the Warrior that you are!
Loving, positive thoughts and prayers from us to you - each day!
Belinda, Tesia, and Soxx the wonder dog!
I look forward to Friday for Creative Writing. You will look forward to Friday for a different reason. You had a full schedule this week. You will be very tired. Keep working it. Rest up in your beautiful garden this weekend. Know that we are thinking of you.
We miss you on Fridays and send prayers & good thoughts to you.
My dear friend, how has the journey of healing been? We have kept you in our prayers and healing thoughts sending you all the energy that you need to muster each day as you face radiation and chemo. Today, I read from the 101 Reflections on TaiChiChuan to the Saturday morning class. I read about water being supportive, powerful and nourishing and how it fills all spaces and indentations. So we flowed like water during the form to Mozart's Romance. It was beautiful. I hope the liquids of Chemo and radiation and hydration will offer you the same support, power and nourishment to blast those cancer cells away. Stay strong. Rest. Love and Hugaroos from the Krause Fam.
Hi dear Suzette! Just arriving to my sisters house after a fabulous wedding weekend in Santa Barbara! Hope you are doing well and having a relaxing weekend. Much love, always... Miyoshi :)
Hi Suzette! I'm picturing the chemo and radiation helping your body's natural defenses kill those unwelcome cancer cells. Sending hugs for you to enjoy in your lovely garden.
Hi Suzette! Just read your latest update. Thanks so much for keeping us informed. I chuckled when I saw the monkey bag hanging on your wall, I hope it makes you chuckle when you see it too. Such a lovely collection of cards and gifts just brimming with love and support for you. You are indeed very loved, don't ever forget it. :). Sorry you are having those nasty side effects but hoping and praying the "intruder" cells are being demolished, each and every one! Your radiation mask looks very high tech, can't imagine how it must feel. Hang in there my dear friend! Sweet dreams and lots more love and healing thoughts for you. Love, Miyoshi
Hey Suz...thanks for the update, your courage and honesty are inspiring. I didn't get to participate in the Mt. Baldy rock but was there to sign a prayer flag last Saturday. Great idea Kim, thanks. It's a lovely reminder of all the prayers and love that is being sent your way and looks perfect in your garden. Amor, Marty
Well my dearest Suzietta,
Your life is rolling along, with tons of wind beneath your wings thanks to friends and family nearby. For that I am grateful. And grateful as well to hear your progress reports, though I wish it was all quite a bit easier on you. I continue to hold you in my heart, love umbrella shielding and protecting you from all but peace, ease, love and health.
Suzette, find out from your Dr. ,but for nausea I use 'Ginger Root' pills that can be used for pregnant ladies, and motion sickness, etc, chk w/your Dr. but since it is a live plant root. it can help. Try it?. Love you, Tammy
Suzette--I listened to Emma Shapplin, and, in doing so, I thought of you. I still struggle remembering the eight treasures, all but the one true treasure of the dojo, You, for whom I pray will have a daily avocado in her path to full recovery.
Good morning dear Suzette, I hope this week is a good one for you. As always you are in my thoughts and prayers. Much love always, Miyoshi
Sitting here thinking of you and missing you. Read the update and the most recent comments again. You are so blessed to have this community of love you created supporting and caring for you. You are never far from my thoughts and I continue to pray and send healing thoughts and energy your way. Your chemo and radiation treatments will be over before you know it and soon we will be laughing, hiking, snacking and playing outrageous Hodnett games. :) Lots of love, health and peace my friend.
Steve and I want to let you know that we are thinking of you and wishing for your speedy recovery. We know that Chuck is looking down and putting his healing hands on you and surrounding you with his love. We know he will take care of you just as you took care of him. We are pulling for you and praying and know you are going to recover and be better than ever. Lot's of good thoughts and good wishes are being sent your way!
Steve and Laura Fata
Good morning to you, good morning to you, good morning dear Suzette, good morning to you! (In my best singing voice) :) As I get ready to take on the day, I have been thinking of you, of my mom, of my journey in life. A memory popped in my head when you came over to our house, shared our home cooked food, soaked in the jacuzzi, enjoyed the beautiful garden around us and we shared with each other, Spanish lessons too. I look forward to the day you will again be a guest at my home and I thank God for you and your friendship. Much love and healing prayers my friend, Miyoshi
Another Thursday over. You're doing great, hang in there.
Rest up tonight. Enjoy your garden this weekend. Sending healing thoughts to you.
Oh sweet cousin, love you and thinking of you every day! Prayers and hugs, so many hugs...our love surrounds you!
Love you, Suzie and Jerry, Jason and Jeanine.
Hello Gal. Sounds like all our prayers and wishes are working for you.
Keep the Faith! Your mental state is your best friend - it will take the lead for your body and soul. You are amazing and so strong - stay in the moment. There will be bumps on the road, but you drive the bus (VW) - keep it straight and on track.
Looking forward to a visit by year end and see your sweet smile!
Take care and drink lots of water to cleanse all the toxins out.
Hi Suz, Thanks for the update. I appreciate so much your taking time and some of your precious energy to keep us informed of your current status with such a detailed account. I continue to send you love and light.
Awww my dear friend, I love your new eye patch! Keep smiling! Big gentle hugs for you from me. Thanks for taking the time and energy to give us another update. Receive lots of positive healing vibes from me. xoxoxo

I think about you so often and you are constantly in my prayers. Rest well in between those treatments and take good care. Love and warm hugs...Geri
Suzette, you are miraculous! I love the eye patch; keep up your sense of humor. It's lovely that you have such a calming peaceful garden where you can rest. The sun is shining every day even when there are clouds above us. Your spirit is always soaring into the brightest places. Missing you and looking forward to the day when we can all visit with you again. Love, M
Happy 4th of July! Hope you do something fun to celebrate. Another Thursday is over. More than half way. Hang in there. I admire your bravery and humor. Your eye patch is great. Kick back and enjoy your garden. Sending thoughts of strength and healing.
Hi Suzette, It's me again. :). Just wanted to wish you a Happy 4th of July and let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. With much love, Miyoshi
Hello ex-neighbor. I text you yesterday heard back from you today. I was so surprised how much life has changed for you this year. I will keep you in my prayers and send love your way. I wish I still lived in the front so I could help you out. I am glad you have a good support system. You are a strong woman and a fighter. Your peaceful loving nature is a blessing to others so I know God has lessons we all can learn from you. Take care Suzette. Love and Light from your ex-neighbor, Lisa, Taz and my 3 cats.
Hi Suzette, I heard from Satoshi about your current challenges and told me about your Team Suzette website. I'm inspired by your courage and your spirit that stands so strong! Although I am in northern california now, I will meditate, gather the life energy around me and send this life energy to you. It's something I learned from Chuck and I'm glad I can use it to help you. Sending you a magical touch, sincere love, and hope... With all my heart, Masato
Hola Amiga, hoping you have a good day. Just stopping by for a little cyber "visit" with you. :) You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. xoxoxo Love, Miyoshi
You have completed another full time work week. More of those cancer cells are gone. Your Friday Creative Writing class is thinking about you and sending good thoughts down the street to you. There will be a Super Full Moon (brighter, bigger, closer to Earth) tomorrow night. It might be fun to see it. Sending healing thoughts to you.
It's a bright summer Sunday morning and it's still cool in the house. Or cats - Panda, Wuchi, and Gabriel - are decorative fur pillows on the bookcase by the window. Their ears perk up as a robin hunts for breakfast in the tall green grass just outside the window screen. Remember how Mama Cat and Tattoo would start their mornings? Snuggles and rubs, breakfast, and now time to pace their energy for the languid morning hours.
Perhaps you are like such zen master cats - a bit of food, a comfy place to rest, the morning sun a blessing, the gentle breeze a tender kiss. Do the birds grace your garden with chirps now? Or are they already flitting here and there, tree to tree, after a treat to eat. In this moment, is your world quiet and resting? Or is summer energy beginning to seep in?
Here's wishing you a time of rest and peace, surrounded by love of all your friends and family. Sending you healing energy today and lots of chi from tonight's Full Moon Qigong. Hugs and kisses - LS
We send you our love and healing energy! May each day bring you peace, light, love, healing energy, gentle breezes kissing your face and sun beams all around you. We love you! Soxx sends his best and biggest furry paw hugs, too!
Tesia and Belinda
Yes, those little kitty cats are great teachers. Thank you for your latest update. Your treatments are knocking out those cancer cells. Hang in there. Sending good and healing thoughts to you.
Hugs to you my friend. I hope this was a good week for you. And may the weekend bring you more healing and comfort. With much love, Miyoshi
Im thinking of you as I wander around the house with only cats for company
The pictures of your backyard oaisis are wonderful to see
It does look like you have created a small paradise to enjoy
I hope it brings you comfort and peace to help with your recovery and healing.
It is also exciting to me to be a part of Senises seminar and see all the wonderful people who will be there to contribute their support and love
Im looking foreward to seeing you well and strong again
I love you
Sitting in the predawn dark and thinking about you. -dan d.
Good morning Suzette, I hope this new day is filled with all good things for you! Thinking of you as I begin a new day filled with endless possibilities. Mucho love always, Miyoshi
It's Friday! Another week almost completed. By my calculations the last treatment in this round. Blast those cancer cells away. Then sit back and enjoy the weekend. You deserve a relaxing time in your garden. Sending you healing thoughts and wishes.
Hi dear Suzette, Just read your latest update. Congrats on finishing up the chemo/radiation treatments! You are definitely one tough cookie! Much love always, Miyoshi
Oh Suz...How great to see you at the end of a pier with your loving family around you. I think this might have been the same violet and orange sunset David and I watched Saturday night. It was gorgeous! I'm so glad you go to be there for it (or the one you did see.).
You are a very special traveler. Godspeed on your journey. Sending you much love and beautiful light to surround you. Marty
You are finished with your treatments!!!! Woot woot!!! Happy day for you, you tough cookie :) 💕 May the rest of your journey in recovery be smooth and peaceful ✌ As always, lots of love!!
Being "one tough cookie" is an excellent thing to be when battling cancer! So glad to hear your treatments are over - let the healing begin!
I am so pleased you are being nurtured with "in-home" care and can enjoy the outside breezes, amongst familiar surroundings. I pray for a miraculous recovery to once again stand tall, able to enjoy all the things that bring you joy....especially since you've brought so much joy to others. Love you! xoxo
Hi Suzette, hoping all is going smoothly for you. You are in my thoughts often and in my prayers always. Receive my gentle hug. (((((Hug))))) Loads and loads of love, Miyoshi :)
Hi Suzette. Thinking about you and sitting here at my computer tapping out some dumb-ass story for Friday. You know I write some pretty ridiculous stuff. This I suspect is right up there. (or down there) -Dan D.
You are to know that even if my name is few and far between on the roster, my thoughts and healing energy goes out to you daily. I have been doing some traveling. Right now i am with my brother. It has been many years since we have seen one another. Just when i think my healing is moving along very well , I get caught by my emotions. I try to embrace them( sometimes hard in the middle of a Target run) :) and move through the experience.
I have a little rescue pup. Found in a parking lot...perhaps she found me. More later.
I had a thought for fund raising. If I remember, you purchased books from Findhorn. I know most of your circle has purchased prior but maybe they could donate$20 and then donate the book to others, libraries, schools, retirement homes, orphanages, battered woman's shelters, doctors offices, rehab..etc. perhaps a box of them could go to the dojo and people could pickthem up from there so as not to disturb you. If transport is needed,i can do do after the 28th. My love to you my courageous, awesome friend and inspiration.
The Creative Writing class will be thinking about your CAT scan on Friday with words like decamp, depart, flee, go, leave, withdraw, and vanish. We are sending healing thoughts to you.
Dear Suzette, Praying that my loving God would eradicate the cancer from your body and would bless and strengthen you in this time of need. Chris
Top o' the mornin' to you my friend. (Said in my best Irish accent, don't ask me why... hahaha) Hope you are seeing improvement and feeling better and better with each passing day. Mucho love, Miyoshi
I'm glad to read you are spending time resting and relaxing in your yard with sun shine, sun flowers and sunny finches. Sending healing thoughts to you.
Resting and healing sounds like the better option. Visualizing a clear ct/petscan in a month! Enjoy your beautiful backyard - that has to be good for your soul and your health.
so in awe of your ability with words and your ability to be so brave,so appreciative,so much a role model and just the suzette we all know and love !
Hi my friend! Had trouble trying to post to the Guestbook yesterday, hope it works ok today! So glad to read the latest update. Thanks for keeping us all updated. Yay! The nodes under the chin are gone, looking forward to more good news in a month with the follow-up scan! You are kicking butt! Keep up the good work! My dad and Logan send you their love. Much love from me too. :)
What a journey!!! You truly ARE one tough cookie -- as the medical team termed you! I pray for continued healing to your body, that your strength and appetite be restored, and that you can get back to your studio and classes doing what you enjoy
Thinking of you. Praying you have a good day and restorative weekend. Love always my friend, Miyoshi
The young avocados on our tree are getting larger. Hope your appetite for them comes back by the time they are ripe. Hope you have a cool breeze in your garden on these very hot days. Thinking of you.
Hola mi Amiga! Como estas? Hoping you continue to improve and are feeling better with each passing day, with each breath. I miss you. Loads of love and continued prayers for you my dear friend. xoxo
Your lasted post was truly inspirational... I'm so glad hear the good news of your recovery! I think about you often and pray that you continue to heal and experience great joy in the simple pleasures of life. With love and gentle hugs :)
you leave me speechless as words cannot convey my awe of you ......this road, this path you are on is affecting many, as it truly has been giving ME courage to face my own challenges and given me new perspectives and strength/hope to "carry on" in the footsteps of my friend SUZETTE ..........
Wow what an update. As I have said before you are amazing. I can't believe your courage, attitude and outlook on life. You have taught all of us so much about life. Thank God for the MRI results. It was certinaly a testimony to see so many friends at your Art Show just wanting a hand squeeze.. You light up our lives, with much love and admiration Tex and Ranie
This early morning of November 1st at 2:30am, I had a dream visit from Suzette, and I let her know how very much I missed her and wished her well. It was so profound that I instantly woke up and looked at the clock. The first moment I had today at work, I made sure to write here, and let everyone know that our Spirit understands the importance of keeping track, and being with the ones you love, if even if it has to be in a dream.
The ladies ask after you often. I let them know of your updates, your courage and healing.
I’m sure you’ve been told, you should write your story in a book, all of us would purchase that book, in an instant. You words are powerful, and you take us on a journey with you when you write.
You are courageous, an inspiration to many, and I’m sure a miracle to your Doctors.
I miss you and wish you well in your journey. I’ve thought of you often.
I cannot see you, but I visualize your face, and think of you with healing love.
May your road be blessed, your friend Tammy (Whittier Place) Reiki master.
So much time has passed since this journey has begun. It seems fleeting but when I stop to think of the time that has passed, it has been quite a road travelled. Yes, indeed our journeys are all the same as you wrote. The challenges vary in degree, our joys, sorrows, fears and hopes. I've learned to find solace in the fact that our emotions affirm our life and time here and as you say the embracing of the present, while so simple can be so difficult and yet so liberating. If that sounds paradoxical, it seems that so often as we come to truly understand something the lesson has come to us from an entirely different perspective - two sides of the same coin. Please know that our thoughts are with you, Maya, Emmy and I. We are all caught in the whirlwind of life and while I sometimes lament not connecting more often, I rest secure in the fact that our positive thoughts, prayers and energy are pulling for you and that when we converse again, we will pick up where we left off. As of this writing, Maya will be graduating College on May 9 and Emmy will be graduating high school on May 30.There successes are your as you have been instrumental in their development.
Bob, Maya and Emily
Hi again Suzette,
It seems like a lifetime since we said goodbye to you, since we experienced those 4 days together with you and Chuck, on a road trip to Laguna Beach and beyond. It was so much fun. Very impressed with how much you have improved and you can now eat, paint, write and enjoy the outdoors better. Amazing what you have achieved. Our hearts go out to you, your sisters and friends, love from Bryan too.
