Just read about you and so sorry but know you will do great! Sending you good vibes and lots of prayers.
Hello Suzette. Glad to hear all went well with the surgery. You are are in the best hands at COH. Been thinking about you and the process all week. My family will continue to keep you in our prayers. It has been hard to not reach out to personally when I first heard, but I respected the request made. I know you are strong and your internal chi will work its magic. Stay strong and our positive ki energy to you! Love you and God Bless.
Louis, Alisa and Alanna Celaya
Hello Suzette. At the dojo today to train. Strange not see you there. Seemed different to not see a old friend on the mat with her Tai Chi friends, and the welcome smile. Aikido Ai misses its corner stone but we all know you are there. When time is quiet here, I think about how you are doing and praying the recovery continues on its path. Glad see from your updates that all is progressing. I did agree with your sense of irony, that while heavy rest is emphasized by the doctors they contradict it with the need to set up your appointment in such a rapid time. I guess they know best how to handle this. I wish you continued and quick recovery and return to the quiet life you enjoyed.
Love, Prayer and my positive ki energy!
I had no idea. I will continue to send loving energy to you, and would like to give you Reiki sessions whenever possible, let me know. The ladies and even Ed have asked about you and send their love & thoughts. You are a bright light of powerful love & energy, I see you with a light of blessed energy around you, keep on visualizing and spend time in your zen place, giving yourself as much love as you give us each time you visited. You are blessed, and so are we for knowing you. We love you dearly. Tammy
Suzette, you are a strong courageous woman and if anyone can get through this, it's YOU! Praying for you my friend. With love, Miyoshi
Suzette: You are the most positive and loving person I have ever had the fortune of knowing. May your wonderful assets help you to heal and inspire your surgeons. A miracle is on its way! And thanks to Kerry and Suzanne for putting together this site, and being the touchstone for Suzette's latest adventure. Lynn Duke and Larry too.
Sending you lots of healing energy to get you through the night and through the coming week.
Hang in there. Sending hug loads of healing chi and thoughts everyday your way. I have great faith in your surgeons and in you. And don't worry a single bit about your classes at the dojo, we have got it covered. Hugaroos.

Positive thoughts being sent your way from the girls and I. The news was not taken too well by them but are hopeful for your health . We appreciate your time and energy with us over the years. We will be here to help.
In the brief time I have participated at Akido AI, you have demonstrated your love and compassion for this art form. In my humble opinion, you exemplifie the Tai Chi ideal. But most of all, I like the hugs.
Suzette--the warmth and love you receive is only but a fraction of that which you have dearly given us. You are in my prayers.
I am keeping up with the updates about you! Your wide circle of friends is coming together on your behalf and you are regularly in my thoughts. Your neighbor, and Tattoo's former chaperone.
I am asking that you be surrounded by Angels and that they comfort you and assist you and your team of healers on the 7th and every day there after for your highest good. May you feel the love that is pouring out to you and may that love lift you, fill you and carry you through to radiant health!

Suzette, I'm sorry to hear you are going through this but I'm confident that with your positive attitude, knowledge about health and healing, and the amazing capabilities of the medical experts today, you will win this battle.
Also I want you to know how much I appreciate all the support that you gave me in the past. Just reading through these comments and seeing your immense support circle is indicative that my life isn't the only one that was touched and positively affected by you. You truly are a force for good in this world and we really could use more people like you around.
Good luck Suzette!! I'll be checking in to see your progress and will give you a call after you've had some time to heal. Take care please!

Susan and I send our best wishes and most positive thoughts. Through your art you have become a part of our home. Through your teaching you have become a part of our lifestyle.
Suzette: Love you today and always! I have the image of all your team wearing your handmade ties, pins, or earrings throughout the day tomorrow. I know I'm gonna do it. Wouldn't it be great if the surgeons
showed up tomorrow and were wearing your ties? You are a one-of -a- kinder! Peace and good sleep tonight. Lynn and Larry.
Sending you positive thoughts, prayers for a full and speedy recovery. Look forward to your smiling face at a show.
Hi Suzette, sending Reiki to you the doctors, and nurses, That you will receive the best of care. And that you will heal in all ways.
Love you, Tillie
I can't believe I got the surgery date wrong...that's what retirement has done for me. I went around thinking that it was the seventh today and since you were in my thoughts and prayers all day I guess that was for a good reason. :-)
Intentions of love and healing have been sent your way and tomorrow the focus will be strong. I love you and am grateful for your presence in my world. I see your doctors being successful and you out of pain and back to new adventures. Looking forward to seeing you face to face, hand in hand, but for now, my love flows your way.
It is Wed. 5.7.14 9:30 am. Melody and I will have you in our thoughts all day. My class tonight will be dedicated to YOU. We will do some Tai-Chi for you and send you the purest, most beautiful golden chi we can muster. See you on the mat!

Suzette, you are healing in a tub of love! Just look at all the friends who are thinking of you and sending their love, light, and healing thoughts. Rest, rest, rest and let us help you with whatever is needed so that you can get healthy and strong. Continuing to send you the good vibes <3
Suzette, I'm thrilled the marathon surgery is behind you and that you are surrounded by family as your recover. It warms my heart to hear that you are sitting up, talking, and in good spirits. You go girl!! Sending you lots of love and healing vibes until I can put my arms around you and give you a gentle hug!
Dear Suzette We are so very happy in Dukeville to hear that you are sitting up and able to converse a bit. We have sent a package to your house that's arriving in two or three days from Arizona. It is from AZbluerockers, and the seller did not read my note asking her to put a personal note inside that the gift is from Larry and I with much love. I'm thinking maybe Kerry and Suzanne can get it to you if it' there before you are back home.
Take it easy girl. You are my heart's inspiration. Lynn, plus Larry plus kids.
I'm so thrilled that surgery went well. There is no need to get back to me personally. You have a full plate. When you are ready for company, I will be there. And , of course, you can call on me for anything you need. I see your beautiful self healing. You are definitely surrounded in love.
Blessings and prayers for a quick recovery. Sending positive thoughts your way.
Dear Suzette, You were in our thoughts last evening as seven of us gathered to practice what you've taught us @ YL Community Center front patio. Positive chi!
Most of the class practiced together yesterday (with Mary's help). Hope we managed to send some healing chi your way.
Fabulous news that you are up and walking, and eating your favorite fruit :) Everyone is pulling for you and sending many positive thoughts and spirit your way. Much chi is energized in your direction. Blessings on you and your wonderful supportive family.
We put you in the middle of a very big circle at this morning's Taichi class and sent all our healing 8 treasures energy to you. We also dedicated the short form to you. It was beautiful. My mother wants you to know that she has been praying for you. Sending you loads of love, hugs and healing chi from Bob, Cynthia, Sebastian and Anselm.
Our dojo's zen group chanted Kuan Seum Bosal for you, your family, and everyone. We are connected with you and send you much love. Glad to hear you're moving right along. Thanks to Kerry and Suzanne for posting the updates.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as you recover. A lot of positive energy is being sent to you from our Tai Chi class at the Y. You are loved and cherished by so many.
I was out this afternoon checking my Bluebird Trail nest boxes, I saw many Bluebirds and of course I thought of you, that's why they call them the Bluebirds of Happiness!! They are symbols of love, joy, hope and happiness. I'm so happy to hear you are out of the ICU and are now recovering. I am affirming health, hope and healing for you. You are love!

I send my best and most hopeful thoughts to you daily for a speedy and complete recovery. You, of all people, have the strength to deal with this. We miss you at the Emeritus classes, but you have taught us soooo much and so bettered many lives!
Suzette: Am thinking of you today and want to wish you Happy Mother's Day. You are so full of creative energy, and so very nurturing, you qualify for Mother's Day honors. May today, and each new day find you feeling stronger and healthier. Much love from, Lynn and Larry and family.
It's been wonderful hearing how well you are doing. Keep it up! I know you will come through this with flying colors....with your will and your chi! Miss you!
I've been following your progress through diagnosis, surgery and now your first few days of healing, and cannot sufficiently express my admiration the power of your spirit and the balance of your Self. We're all thinking of you and praying that all will end well.
Perhaps you did not know that Anna Hager broke her hip last Tuesday and is recovering in Methodist Hospital in Arcadia. The first thing she asked me when I visited her was how you were doing.
You're loved and admired by many people.
Wishing you the best of everything,
Dear Suzette: So glad to hear all the good news from you! You are doing great. We miss you and waiting for you back to class.
Sending you all our love, hugs and healing chi.
Miss you soooooooooooooo much!!!!
So glad to hear you are doing well, up and about and even getting into a little mischief :) Much love, Reiki and healing sent your way xxoo
Now the healing begins. I know you will make the necessary adjustments to continue with your usual activities. A more personal and inspirational form of Tai Chi and more meaningful Art imagery. For, in the end, the Love you take is equal to the Love you make -The Beatles
Prayers said and saying, miracles requested, warm hugs of light imagined, and continued concern and admiration expressed all for the wonderful Suzette.
Dear Suzette oh how we look forward to the updates. As you know we have covered the world with prayers. Father Clyde from Rome said to be sure to let you know he is praying for you at Mass. As far as prayer goes the word has spread and there are so many praying for you you don't even know yet. We are sending you beams of healing light. God Bless you and you my friend are an increadable woman. Need help just let us know. We miss you. Hugs, Tex and Ranie
Hey Suzette -Thank you for your bravery in sharing. We're hanging on every positive word and so looking forward to giving you hugs in person. Qi flowing constantly...all illnesses have disappeared now! Adam and Molly joined us in Seattle for Mother's Day. They both send their love to you.
You are on our minds & in our hearts. We MISS you & wish you a speedy recovery. Peace, love & chocolate, Don & Caril
Wishing you a speedy recovery, our prayers go out to you from all of us here at Whittier Hospital. Cant wait to have you back here with us!
You know that I think of you and sweet Tattoo often. I checked the plants, and some lovely person has been watering, so Tattoo's memorial is in good shape. The bonsai has been put outside, not the best place for it in this heat, so I may buy some filtered water and put it in deep shade.
I can do so little, but I will do whatever that little thing is that is needed. Your odd friend, Bonnie...:)
I am glad your surgery is behind you and you are on your way to better days. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a compete recovery.
Hi Suzette, I'm so happy to hear that you are recovering and had a chance to go outdoors for a while. That's wonderful! I think of you often and pray that you continue to heal and feel much better soon. I was at the dojo on Saturday for the whole enchilada: zen, qigong, tai chi, all dedicated to you. The energy was so positive… Feel the loving chi all around you :)
Hola Amiga! Como estas? :) Gotta keep your Spanish up to speed. I read your latest update to Logan, Heri and Marshall and we all chuckled at your escapades to enjoy a bit of the outdoors and leaving a trail of leaves! Sending you lots of love always. If you need help with any of your plants, let me know.
Hi Suzette, I just want you to know that I think of you daily. Your beautiful spirit has always carried me through this life journey.mi am sending positive thoughts your way and continue to wish the best for you. I am available to be of service to you. It would be my pleasure. Take care always, Roberta
Hi Suzette, you have been in my prayers since before your surgery and you will continue to be in my prayers everyday. I have been praying the rosary daily and you are one of the people I pray for. I also pray to all the saints to intercede on your behalf for a complete healing and recovery. Hurry and get well so you can fix my special tie! :)
Our Dearest Suzette, so you will be going home soon, what great news guess our prayers are being answered. Now we understand No Visits and we totally agree you need quiet time, rest and relaxingsation. However if you need any groceries we know your favorite shopping places Trader Joes and Sprouts. Just send a list and we will do the rest. No visiting is exactly what you need.so we can deliver to your door quitely like we did before. Love and prayers, Tex and Ranie
Suzette, my old chum...home and your own bed soon! I'm visualizing you recovering and healing a bit each day surrounded
by all the love from friends and family like a big healing bubble...that's a visual, isn't it? Love you pal, Linda
As Dorothy said, "There's no place like home." Welcome back. All good thoughts to your power within.
Hi Suzette: Susan and I are glad to hear that you are home. We know how that can enhance recovery. Since I'm a home-based freelancer, and since the Whittier College semester is ending, we both are around if you need daytime transit etc.
I also thought that you might like to know that our dog Zook, the black Chow that tried to give you a nip or two, rests quietly on the rug under your art everyday. That's become one of his places.
Best wishes (and cooler breezes) for your continued recovery.
So happy to hear you are home and resting in your peaceful environment. You are in our hearts & thoughts! Don & Carol
Ah, the garden : Prayer-like just to sit and enjoy. While I putter and enjoy mine, I send prayers for you in yours. Gentle bouquets of healing light......from Gail.......I simply must learn this 24 movement routine after taking so much time in your classes
I love knowing that you're home and can sit in your lovely garden. I picture healing chi surrounding and enveloping you as you rest, sleep and are in your awake state. You have been and continue to be a wonderful inspiration to me Suzette. Blessings and Love to you.
Welcome home, Suzette. There truly is no place like it for grounding and healing. Your body has some amazing abilities. I'm here when you need me.
Geoff and Luke send their love and prayers too.
Positive energy and nothing but good thoughts coming to you from our family. You have done so much to help our family over the last two years.
We know your energy and life force will see you through this ordeal. Many blessings to you.
Hi my friend,
I'm about to turn in for the night when I saw your latest update. First, it's great to hear from you but don't feel obligated to have to update unless you are up to it. Second, you are such a beautiful person, all the doctors had to do to you could never take your beauty away. We are in this together. Mucho amor siempre!
I am reminded of one of my favorite quotes (Camus) "In the midst of winter, I finally learned there was, in me, an invincible summer."
Thinking of you day and night. -Dan D.
Hello Suzette. Glad to see you are home and resting. That is the key at this point. Amazed by your outlook and strength, yet I am not surprised. Always in our thoughts and prayers! As you know God and Buddha will provide. Looking forward to seeing my good friend and dojo cornerstone up and about in the future, and of course the warm welcome hug. Take care. Love and prayers.
Suzi-San, I have a watercolor by Marti that has a meditating figure in the midst of beautiful color. Every day I think of you through that piece of art and continue to send you restful and healing thoughts.
Love you! Kim
Think of you every moment of the day. We look forward to the updates and the letter from you was very much appreciated. We know it took a lot of energy but it meant so much to hear from you. Sending hugs, bunches of 'em till we can collect in person. Know we are here for you if we can help in any way. Love and prayers,
Tex and Ranie
Hola Suzette, thanks for the latest update. It really is so great to hear from you and hear how you are doing. Today on my morning walk, I didn't listen to music on my iPod like I usually do. Instead I chose to devote my walk in total prayer for you my friend. Sweet dreams and talk to you soon. Love, Miyoshi :)
Suzette- Ah, the hair wash. Thinking gentle warm sudsy water for your curls and the refreshing sensation you will have. Sending these, along with another bouquet of white healing light, and miraculous prayer requests............each & every day. Gail
Dear Suzette: I was up on the mountain on Saturday, (drove up with Spencer, Cynthia and Laura) and wanted to share some of the highs and lows. Highs: Seeing our old friends. It was especially great seeing our friend Teja-it had been too long. And how special to spend time with our dear dojo/and zen people. Highs: Taiko! Chris had the idea for us (Chris, Cynthia and me) to do a short demonstration. We set up three drums in the firepit and played to a small but supportive group for about five minutes. We were far from perfect, but the sound of the drums under the trees and the big sky was spectacular. Highs: Seriously perfect weather. The sky was blue, the temperature was warm with a slight breeze. Highs: Sharing our enthusiasm for the fan form with new students. It was great to hear the sound of the fans opening in the low ceiling dojo. Highs: Seeing a bear! A baby bear came near the dining hall – a few of us got great photos. And fortunately no one (and none of our food) was eaten. Lows: There was only one. Not seeing you there. Although Cynthia and I found you all over. In a lone, perfectly formed pinecone hung low over the firepit. In a single beautiful yellow wild flower waving from the path. In memories of fun times together. I look forward to next year when Cynthia, Spencer, Sensei and I (and certainly many others) have already committed to walking to the waterfall with you. Love you, Meg
All the wonderful memories of being up on that mountain with you. freezing but how you kept us warm. An unforgetable expierience Thank you for talking us into joining you there. Also many thanks for the letter we look forward to it and know how difficult it is for you to spare that energy to keep us informed on your miracalous progress. Prayers continue daily and we think of you every minute of the day. Love hugs and Blessings, Love you Suzette
Dear friend Suzette: I know you took some giant steps forward today. Stitches, staples and drain gone for good! Hooray. May each day find you more peace and wellness. I love you and miss seeing you. Lynn.
Hello my dear friend,
Just still wanting you to know I am holding you in my heart, in my thoughts and prayers all the time!!! My healing hands are doing the long distance thing on you, as space and time are just an illusion...
Love you Suzietta!!!
Hi Suzette. I brought you home some aloha from the beautiful garden isle of Kauai. I thought of you as I practiced my balance and rooting, trying to step very carefully and deliberately on a slippery, muddy trail. (This was after I had failed miserably - or my shoes had - on a slick wet rock, with my tailbone paying the price!)
Mary, Joe, and Marissa led a good class tonight. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I hadn't forgotten too much in the last two weeks.
Will one of your colleagues from the Dojo be taking your classes for a while? Mary & Joe can help keep the advanced class going, but Phyllis was saying that many of the beginning students were looking forward to the next session.
Hope you are able to enjoy a shower and a little more freedom of movement!
I wanted you to know that I think of you and pray for you often. You have been such a blessing in my life. You sincerely are one of the kindest, most caring and comforting people I have met. I will be forever greatful for the healing you have brought to my soul.
God bless you in your journey of recovery. You are so strong and soon enough you will be back to blessing us all with your talents.
I hope you found the little gift and card I left at your doorstep.
Be blessed. Enjoy your time to heal and stay still.
Dearest Suzette, you are allways on my mind, I look fwd to your updates and pray for you constantly. Father Clyde in Rome has prayed for you in his daily mass. Now I'm trying to get Pope Francis to join us but he hasn't answered my calls yet. Sending love prayers and affection.
Dear Suzette, You are an accomplished, courageous, and inspiring woman. You're like a fighter in a titanic bout with a brutal opponent and all the people in attendance are in your corner. You can't lose.
With love and admiration for you, from Meg and Dan.
Dear Suzette: What a busy ten days you have had! And what a busy schedule each day ahead holds. May you have lots of healing and coping energy. And here are some inspirational thoughts. Joan Borysenko: "May I be at peace. may my heart remain open. May I awaken to the light of my own true nature. May I be healed.May I be a source of healing for all beings." From Sally Lowe Whitehead, "The Path of Grace": "A woman's path need not always take her many miles from home. It will, however, always invite her to let go of where she's already been, and to open to the Mystery of where she's going. Grace will be her guide and will ask her to trust in her own wisdom. In this way, a woman's path will invariably lead her back to her true self, and no path is ever more valuable than this."
Your updates are incredibly informative. I appreciate so much the time and energy you give to keeping us informed. I think of you so often during my waking hours and thank God and the Universe for you. I send Love and Healing Light to surround and envelope you as you proceed through the appointments, anesthesia and surgery, recovery, radiation, chemo, PT and OT. Blessed be precious one.
Your strength and calm continue to inspire us all. I will be sending you healing thoughts tomorrow for your eye surgery. You are surrounded by love and light from the many friends whose lives you have touched. Step by step, you are being healed. Your appointment schedule sounds very hectic. I hope you find some time rest and relax in your garden, listen to the birds, and enjoy an avocado.
I'm praying that all goes smoothly with your eye surgery today and that all involved in your care are caring and exceedingly skillful. May Golden Healing Light surround you, precious Suzette.
Dearest Suzette so happy your eye surgery went well today. Continuing prayers that you will continue to heal and are in less pain. You are an amazing woman and what lessons we have all learned from all you have gone through. Sending hugs and much aloha to you from Ranie. God Bless Your favorite drop out. Tex
Hi, Suzette! It's two weeks after the retreat at Mt. Baldy. Wait till you see how ideas from instructors and participants have helped us shape next year's schedule and activities. One thing we have done is start a Facebook page dedicated to the Mt. Baldy Retreat.
To kick it off, I have posted some photos from past years. Of course there are some great photos of you and friends! One is a picture of Kim Romig, Cynthia Krause and you arriving in one car, all smiles and peace signs and happy camper antics. Another is you and Sensei Frank doing the Tai Chi Two-Person Dance together. How about card games and group massage sessions?! How about avocados for dessert? Wait till you get there next year! We have plans to fill the camp and you'll be helping with all the behind-the-scenes stuff again. I have set aside your favorite cabin for you and your choice of roomie.
You know how relaxing it is with the sunshine and the fresh air up there. Imagine sitting back in some big andirondack chair, your feet up on a cushion, the summer sun warming you through and through, while the fresh breeze cools you skin and tosses your hair. Once again you'll be back, listening to the birds call across the sky, the squirrels chattering from tree to tree, the lizards skittering across the gravel and rocks into the dappled shade under the flowers. We'll listen to the monks chant, ring the tiny crystal-bright-sounding bells, and rap the wooden sign to send the haunting echo through the trees to the stars.
Connected to everything, we dance - in whatever we are doing in the moment. Here's sending you waves of healing energy and love. I'll post some more memory-packed photos online and we can share the stories. Ciao for now!
Dear Suzette: Today is the first day that one of your sunflowers has fully opened. It is a volunteer one, probably from scattered bird seed. But it's loving our weather here-tomorrow it's supposed to be 101! May this week bring you new strength and healing as you begin chemo and radiation, plus o.t. and p.t. I will have Matt help me try to send you a photo of the sunflower later this week. Much love, Lynn and Larry (gone backpacking).
Wishing and praying for only the best in your chemo and radiation treatments. May your amazing strength and courage and the love of all your friends everywhere support you on this journey. All good thoughts and healing energy continue to be sent your way.
Lots of Love, Hilde
My love and prayers continue your way as you start the next step of your journey today. You are such an inspiration to me as I watch your positive attitude and visualization put into practice. Thank you for sharing and for just being you. All my love, Candy Ryder
My Dearest Suzette thank you for your recent update. You my friend are a remarkable lady. You have endured so much with such a positive attitude. It is no wonder you have such a following on your Website. You have taught us all so much about life the good and the bad focussing mostly on the good. Sending much love, hugs and Blessings. Ranie and I feel blessed you came into our lives. By the way your Garden is so beautiful and peaceful, a great place to heal.
I love you Suzette. Tex
So glad to read your latest update....REST, REST, REST...probably the best medicine ever❗Thinking only happy & positive thought concerning you...Love, Carol😻
My wonderful Suzi-San,
Remember the Lone Ranger? One of my all time favorite shows as a kid. Remember how Tonto called him Kemo Sabe? I'd always heard it means "trusty scout" That's what I want you think when you go for chemo.
Let it scout out its target.
I'm sending you love.... on a white horse,
I love reading your update. I love seeing your backyard and glad that you have such a sweet sanctuary. When I had chemo I would listen to my healing audio tapes. When I was lucky, they'd give me something that would lead me to slumber and deep relaxation. I am glad you are such a strong woman! You give me strength and smiles.
Love and Nameste - Luci
Dear Suzette, old pal...you are truly, in the words of a great poet, "a phenomenal woman" and I see you surrounded by healing energy
and love and inner strength that chips away the toxins more each day...that's a phenomenal image!! Love and hugs to you, mi Amiga.
Wondering how the radiation treatments are going....there was no physiscal feeling when I had my radiaton. For you, perhaps the position is painful just because of your surgeries....the fatigue...not sure when it sets in. Just the daily trips, PT and OT must be tiring though. Thinking about you a lot today (every day!) knowing that tomorrow is chemo day. Picturing the liquid "gold" absorbing cancer cells...I delighted in seeing the picture of your garden and of Hotei with his arms in the air....a great reminder to me also that "all is well". I love you and will be praying that all goes smoothly tomorrow. THANK YOU AGAIN for keeping us posted and for enduring this journey. You are phenomenal! Love, Joan
Buenos Dias mi Amiga :) By now you have had your first week of treatments and phase 2 of project Heal Suzi is in full effect. Side effects are hopefully minimal (or non-existent!) and rest plentiful. Thinking of you recovering in your backyard sanctuary, surrounded by Hotei, birds and other critters, of course lots of avocados around your feet :)healthy, glowing, as the golden nectar transforms your body. Oh, I just signed up for an advanced oncology massage workshop thru the spa, whenever you are ready my friend, all you have to do is ask 💜 In the meantime, sending you reiki, healing,- all illnesses disappear NOW!- and of course all my love and support :)
Dearest Suzette, not a day goes by we don't think about you and how we pray that cancer goes away once and for all. God knows what a beautiful person you are and will heal you. Your last update was read over and over. I was in Texas for a week and kept up on my Iphone plus cdalling Ranie for any update I might have missed. I asked tmy fellow Texans to join us in prayer and you know everything in Texas is big so look out God here comes big prayers.
I love you so much you are very special. God Bless, Tex
Hi Suzette, We miss you. Peggy is doing a fine job of keeping us on course and expediting things along, but the entire Friday morning enterprise is more than a little hollow without you there. Okay, now that I've made you feel sufficiently guilty for having the temerity for going and getting sick on us, I'll give you a little update: Two new males! John, Brian, and I are hopeful they'll stick. They both wrote pieces last week. Good stuff too. Miss you.
I pray for your recovery every morning and night. The Lord Jesus Christ will heal you. To help with the toxicity of the medications, chemo, radiation, consider drinking a tablespoon of canola oil twice a day. Love and prayers for you, Juanita Meraz, Santa Fe Springs, CA
Just letting you know that we are thinking and living with you as you go through the medical mills. We all hope and pray that your treatments will work and are astounded by your courage.
The writers' group has continued but we all hope to see you once again soon.
Dear fellow Suzette-lovers.

Hello my beautiful friend!! Happy belated 4th to you!!! Hi Suzette. That dynamite photo of your group staring off into the offing (Hey - I'm supposed to be a writer, so give me a break.) okay then, that picture of you guys watching the sun set is stupendous.
Mystery, majesty, beauty beyond any words, and terror too. I might be wrong of course, but I suspect we all were blessed to have been born into this ineffable puzzle. I also suspect your best works of art are yet to come. -Dan D.
